NERD breaks up, gets back together, breaks up, gets back together

I know Americans don't care, but Pharrell Williams started his own rumors that "NERD has expired". And then said later that they weren't. Maybe he thought he didn't need NERD because he was too busy designing more ugly Ice Creams, dancing in the background of Snoop videos, or just admiring his bare chest and ubiquitous camo shorts in the mirror.

NERD is one of those groups that is totally revered in Europe and Japan and that Americans just don't give a crap about, which is understandable, because Pharrell is annoying as hell. When we were in Europe last year, the Dutch MTV station basically devoted a week's coverage to a huge NERD London show. I have to admit, I like them and basically anything that they produce as the Neptunes. But I can still do without Pharrell's ugly-ass shoes.
