Latest obsession: Arrested Development, one of the funniest shows on TV right now (the other, of course, is Dave Chapelle: Bitch, I'm Rick James, bitch!) Props to Jason Bateman who we previously only remembered as the bratty kid on Silver Spoons. Okay, I'll admit it: that show was awesome. Remember the train that went around the living room and the remote control door? What kid wouldn't have killed to have that in 1983?

Vrolijk kerstfeest!!
Only four days until Christmas! A great Christmas gift for this year was the unwitting discovery of an entire Dutch cookie section at our local biggest Asian grocery, Uwajimaya. How crazy is that? Trish, Kyle and I were totally shocked, but then if you think about it, Asians (or at least Filipinos) loooove those European cookies! They even have stroopwafelen, and the Belgian biscuits that my mom likes from Jules DeStrooper. I was in heaven when I saw it all! Trish even picked us up some speculaas, but they're not the same as the 69-cent Euroshopper ones. Boo!

Sonja is here visiting! Yay! We're reminiscing on time in Den Haag, how she won a free ticket from NS trains (typical Sonja)... Pictures coming shortly...
