More scratches than Grandmaster Flash
Yikes, just when I was actually thinking about getting a sweet iPod Nano, I start reading about how the thing's LCD screen scratches like there's no tomorrow. Ugh. Why would Apple release a product that is meant to be stored in your pocket, when it scratches against fabric? Crazy. Guess I'd better wait until this problem gets fixed (or until Coach comes out with a sweet, sweet Nano case!)

Kickin it old school
Any techno geek like me, who has spent countless hours as a kid playing classic NES will appreciate this. Oh, if only they had this 15 years ago (yikes, am I that old?!) I would have been able to play Legend of Zelda from way back on the couch...

How you like me now, Super Mario?!

Punish people until they donate
Hmmm, interesting strategy to get people to donate money to Hurricane Katrina relief efforts: play an earworm until people throw money at you to make it STOP. If it were up to me, the next song: Who Let the Dogs Out! (yeah, there it is-- now this song is going to be stuck in your head all day. Sorry!)

More on Kanye's tirade
Here's a transcript-- I love live television!
Oh, and I was wondering about Kanye's claim about "looting" vs. "finding" on photo captions... I guess he was right!

Kanye: "Hell to the no!" to teleprompters
This is where, during the relief concert on NBC last Friday, Kanye totally goes off and ignores the teleprompter. I actually saw this on TV and was like, "Is he really... no he didn't! Keep talking!!" And on the west coast, we didn't even hear him say "George Bush doesn't care about black people," because they edited it out. But it was still good. I love live television!! (Don't forget to look at Mike Myers, who has this look like "oh crap...." then cuts to Chris Tucker who is like, "ummmm, okay uh..."

Kanye: hey Mike Myers, shut yer trap and let me finish!

So little, so late
Wow, seen CNN lately? Now you know a natural disaster is truly devastating when Dr. Sanjay shows up at the scene. The last place he had popped up was tsunami Sri Lanka-- that should tell us something about the scale of this hurricane. I know I'm not the only one who can't believe the lack of humanitarian aid is actually happening right here in America, not somewhere in the Third World.

Here's the donation link that seems, for whatever reason, to be super-buried in the various newsites (beneath news of benefit concerts, etc. which apparently, are more newsworthy than the disaster itself. Hello?!)

Or to make things even easier, (I'm lazy like that) go up to Amazon to donate-- there you don't even have to do contact info, etc. Excelente!

Trap yourself in a closet, R. Kelly, for the love of GOD
If you missed the terrible terrible TERRIBLE R. Kelly performance at the MTV awards, here's your chance to watch it, if you dare. Be prepared to say:

- "What THE...?",
- "Oh no he DIDN'T",
- ".... tha HELL?",
- and maybe even throw in a "I'm not doing this with him TODAAAAAY".

R. Kelly done lost his mind. Now someone put him in jail for something. PLEASE.

Best Week Ever: Someone trap R. Kelly in the closet forever. Please.
